Dr. Cindy Beeks received an undergraduate degree from the University of Wyoming and a secondary school teaching credential from California State University before obtaining her optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1994. After completing a residency with the VA Medical Center in Portland she joined the Laser Institute of the Rockies as Clinical Director in 1995. During the past five years at Laser Institute of the Rockies Dr. Beeks has been responsible for building a comanagement network, as well as, directing one of the areaís largest refractive surgery clinics.
Dr. Beeks has lectured at numerous regional, national & international optometric conferences and has been widely published in various optometric and scientific journals. She has been an on-site subinvestigator for a number of FDA protocols, is an adjunct professor at Pacific University College of Optometry, and is a member of a number of professional optometric organizations. |
